Awhile ago, over winter break I wanted to checkout a ringflash from the photo cage to get some cool portraits for that emulate assignment. The cage, however was out of ringflashes by the time I got my gear. I had seen a tutorial for a diy ringflash while stumbling and decided to give it a try.
This was my result. It worked somewhat, but the light was not even all the way around the ring and it was super fragile. So once I scrounge up enough money I'm going to try and make a ring lamp out of a circular fluorescent light. My photo teacher let me borrow his diy ring light for a project and hopefully I can rig one up for myself.
