I'm going to start from the very beginning of our journey, way before we saw any beaches, or sun for that matter
Sitting on the plane we wait for the De-icers to begin their process so we can finally get out of New York. We were supposed to arrive in California several hours ago, but the long overdue snow (that I have been waiting for all winter) decides to arrive just in time to foil our plans of having a hassle free ride to the Golden State. That blizzard put us back 12 hours, several phone calls and a long drive to Buffalo. Even though we lost time in our far to short stay in California we were all to anxious to get out in the sun to get down over a few short hours.
